Okira is a unique collection of Brazilian natural cosmetics enriched with organic essential oils and golden honey from the Caatinga, an ecoregion exclusive to Brazil.
I worked on all aspects of the branding – from initial naming and logo design to packaging, designing and building an e-commerce website, hand-building the wooden display stands and creating various print materials.
The word Okira is formed from two local Tupi words: Okara which means field or meeting place – emphasising the social action ethos of the brand – and Ira which means honey.
